Dr. Mohammed Shafi is a board-certified gastroenterologist and partner at Digestive Disease Specialists in Las Vegas. He completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University and his gastroenterology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Shafi has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a broad range of digestive conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic disorders, and diseases of the esophagus, stomach, and colon.

Dr. Shafi has received numerous professional honors. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Las Vegas Life, Vegas Inc. Health Care Quarterly, and the Consumer’s Research Council of America. He is also a recipient of the Citi-Group Financial Corporation “Business Leadership” Award and the Asian American Group Award for his service to the Southern Nevada community. In recognition of his commitment to excellence, leadership, and community service, Dr. Shafi was awarded the distinguished Plaque of Honor from the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Shafi enjoys traveling, reading, fishing, and spending time with his wife and their four sons.
